A standard headshot tells someone what you look like. Personal branding photography tells them who you are. We work on location - your office, your studio, your favourite spot in town - and capture the lifestyle and character that a passport-style headshot can't. Hands at the keyboard, conversation across a desk, the quiet moment before a client meeting.
Most personal branding shoots run two to three hours. £300 covers the first hour, longer sessions are quoted to suit the brief. Aimed at recruitment consultants, salon owners, founders, and anyone whose business depends on people choosing them as much as the service.

Some portraits exist for a website. Others exist because the photograph itself is the work - a milestone gift, an editorial brief, an artistic collaboration, a commissioned piece for a personal collection. These shoots are planned individually around the brief and the subject, with planning calls and a hand-curated edit.
£300 covers the first hour. More involved commissions - multi-location days, multi-day projects, or overseas work - are quoted on enquiry. Recent commissions include ongoing UK collaborations and a five-day shoot at the Ritz, Paris.

Step 1: The Plan
We'll chat about what these photos are for. Are you launching a website? Promoting a book? Updating your socials? This helps us work out the right location - whether that's somewhere meaningful in Cambridgeshire or somewhere that ties into your brand.
Step 2: The Shoot
We meet up, and it's more like a walk and a chat than a formal
photoshoot. If you hate being in front of a camera, don't worry - I'm very good at distracting
you. I'll give you enough direction that you're not left wondering what to do with your hands,
but mostly we just keep it moving and conversational.
Step 3: The Result
You receive a private online gallery of high-resolution images, edited in
my signature natural style, ready to download and put to work.

Across every shoot: full editing and retouching as part of the deal, not an extra. Black and white versions of every image. No per-image upsells, no print packages, no watermarked previews. The price you see is the price you pay.
FAQ
I’m really awkward in photos.
Join the club! 99% of the people I photograph say this. It’s my job to fix it. I don’t just stand there in silence; I talk you through it, find the best angles, and make sure you feel comfortable. You’ll be surprised how easy (and often fun) it actually is.
What should I wear?
Wear what makes you feel confident. If you’re a lawyer, that might be a suit. If you’re a ceramicist, that might be an apron. The goal is authenticity. (Just try to avoid giant logos - they date quickly).
Do you do newborn photography?
I offer "lifestyle" newborn sessions at your home. This means minimal props, baskets, or unnatural poses - just you cuddling your new baby in your own comfortable environment.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
For local shoots, I'll typically factor everything into one fixed price, after understanding your brief over email or chat. That means no surprise extra fees on or after our photoshoot.
Do you do personal branding shoots?
Yes, absolutely! I love personal branding sessions because they allow me to help entrepreneurs, creatives, and small business owners tell the story behind what they do.
Unlike a traditional corporate headshot, a personal branding shoot is a more lifestyle-focused session. We’ll capture a mix of natural portraits, "behind-the-scenes" action, and the finer details of your craft or workspace. My goal is to create a diverse gallery of images that feel authentic to you, giving you a wealth of professional content for your website, social media, and marketing materials. I work with clients throughout Cambridgeshire and London to help them feel confident on camera and look exceptional online.
Can you suggest locations for our photoshoot?
Yes, definitely. Having photographed across Cambridgeshire for over 15 years, I have a curated list of favourite spots that work beautifully in different seasons and lighting conditions.
Whether you’re looking for the stunning backdrops of central Cambridge, the riverside locations of Ely and St Ives, or just a quiet, golden - green space away from the crowds, I can recommend the perfect setting to match your style.
During our initial chat, we’ll discuss the "look" you want - be it rustic, corporate, or natural - and I’ll propose locations that fit. I am also very happy to come to your home, office, or a location that you where you feel most comfortable.
What’s the difference between this and your "Commercial" page?
Good question. My Commercial page is usually for companies needing consistent headshots for their whole team, or product photography.
This Portraits page is for individuals who want a more creative, varied set of images that tell a story.
Do I need a studio?
Rarely. I believe natural light and real environments (coffee shops, offices, outdoors) often tell a better story than a blank wall.
However, if you specifically need a plain studio background, just let me know - I can bring my portable kit to you, or arrange a visit to my home studio near Huntingdon.
